Waukegan Park District Gets “Greener”! Don’t throw away your used ink cartridges, bring them to the Belvidere Recreation Center at 412 S. Lewis & the Field House Sports and Fitness Center at 800 N. Baldwin. (Click here for more information.) 

Waukegan SportsPark Opening Delayed All was well and the Waukegan Park District’s new SportsPark on Green Bay Road was on schedule to be completed and open by the end of this summer.  Unfortunately, due to the strike by the Laborers and Operators Unions, the project has been delayed. A spring opening date is anticipated and will be announced early in 2011. Click here to read more.
