Nature’s Classroom: Rockin’ Out with Geology

The Waukegan Park District is hosting Nature’s Classroom: Rockin’ Out with Geology on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 6pm to 7pm at Bevier Center, located at 2255 York House Road in Bevier Park. Become a geologist for the day and craft a small beginner rock collection! We will explore the process of fossilization and learn how to identify all different types of rocks. Preregistration is required. For ages 6-12.
