The Waukegan History Museum is operated by the Waukegan Park District and Waukegan Historical Society and is the repository for all of Waukegan’s rich history. Temporary exhibits rotate throughout the year and the museum itself is a permanent exhibit of life in Waukegan during the 1870’s. Entrance to the museum and its exhibits is free. The Waukegan History Museum is located in Bowen Park at 1917 N. Sheridan Road in Waukegan.
