The Waukegan Park District offers a series of youth programs that focus on the fundamentals of each game. Teamwork and sportsmanship are emphasized in the team sports. In all clinics and skills programs, participants learn the rules of the game, practice basic skills and play games to gain experience. All skill levels are welcome! The Waukegan Youth Football Association offers a youth tackle football program. The Association offers Waukegan area youngsters the chance to learn the fundamentals of the grid-iron game, in addition to sportsmanship and teamwork.
